Which proactive measures is Emotive taking to stay ahead of the evolving regulatory standards?
At Emotive, we take a forward-thinking approach to regulatory compliance by prioritizing sustainable materials and reducing environmental impact. Wherever possible, we avoid using plastics in our packaging. For instance, where a humidity barrier is essential, we ensure that at least 50% of the materials used are recycled. Additionally, we hold our suppliers to high standards by requiring a minimum fill rate of 80% in each article packaging box. This proactive strategy not only aligns with current regulations but also positions us to adapt seamlessly to future changes, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and delivering eco-conscious solutions to our customers and partners.

How does the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation impact Emotive’s approach? And how is Emotive adapting to these changes?
Emotive is fully prepared to comply with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation, should it come into force in its current form. Our proactive approach ensures alignment with regulatory requirements. If any aspects of the regulation change, we are committed to adapting swiftly to remain compliant

What is the story behind the “We Care for Eco Packaging” logo? And what message does it communicate to customers and partners?
During the early stages of the project, there were questions about the visual simplicity of the packaging design. To address this perception and emphasize the sustainable intent behind the design, we introduced the “We Care for Eco Packaging” logo on the article label. Initially, we considered adding a colored sticker to highlight the message further, but this idea conflicted with our sustainability strategy, so the logo became the perfect alternative. It serves as a clear reminder of our eco-friendly commitment to customers and partners.

Emotive packaging includes up to 90% recycled cardboard and 50% recycled plastics, how does Emotive ensure transparency and authenticity in its claims about recycled content?
Transparency and authenticity are at the core of our sustainability strategy. To substantiate our claims, we implement a rigorous verification process that demands all suppliers provide certified documentation of the recycled materials used in their products. This includes detailed certificates outlining the percentage of recycled content and the sources of the raw materials. We also conduct periodic audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with these standards across our supply chain. By fostering close relationships with eco-conscious suppliers, we maintain consistency and reliability in our practices, giving customers and partners confidence in the authenticity of our sustainable packaging.
